| project, thanked the Planning commissioners for their suggestion several |
|
| weeks ago to hold an informational meeting for all the residents. He said |
|
| they had many positive responses as well as certain negative responses. |
|
| He said it was helpful to hear what the significant issues were and he feels |
|
| it was a successful meeting. He said he's scheduled another meeting for |
|
| Monday, July 24, 1995 at 7:30 p.m. primarily for the condominium residents |
|
| who live behind the proposed Building "J". |
|
| Ms. Goodwin stated that a redevelopment project has been submitted. The |
|
| site is currently zoned for Shopping Center Business and has been used |
|
| many years for that. Had there not been an intent to modify the structure |
|
| and add new structures, it would have been approved as a modification |
|
| under a building permit only. However, because there are new buildings |
|
| proposed and there is a complete rework of the parking and the storm |
|
| water drainage system, that precipitated the site plan process. The plans |
|
| are now going through a very technical review by all city departments to |
|
| insure that the various codes of the city can be met before actual |
|
| construction drawings are presented for building permits. She noted that |
|
| staff has been reviewing plans for the last 4-5 months. At the point where |
