| outside the boundaries of Rochester Hills as well as the importance of designing |
|
| a solid presentation to City Council. Not only would it protect and preserve |
|
| natural features and remove invasive species on the City's open spaces but |
|
| could also enhance the Clinton River running through Rochester Hills, which is a |
|
| premiere natural feature. A concern was noted regarding the expansion of |
|
| GSAB's mission and that it could be construed as too big of a foot print. |

| The Board examined the original ballot language for the green space millage |
|
| that was passed by voters in 2005. If City Council expands the mission of |
|
| GSAB to include stewardship, then the voters would be asked to approve a |
|
| ballot question that would repurpose existing green space funds to allow |
|
| stewardship expenses. Residents would need to be convinced that it is in their |
|
| best interest to allow the City to enact a stewardship management plan to |
|
| protect the natural environment which would also enhance the economic value |
|
|
