Proclamation in Recognition of Eagle Scout Nick Tran

Whereas, Nick Tran is an outstanding young man and eighth grade student at Avondale Middle School; and
Whereas, Nick maintains a constant presence on the honor roll and is involved in many extracurricular activities, including Boy Scout Troop 123, which he has been a part of since he was five years old; and
Whereas, in pursuit of his Eagle Scout ranking, Nick constructed the War Dog Memorial at Veterans Memorial Pointe honoring all dogs of service including military, police, and guide dogs; and
Whereas, Nick spent many hours and put in a great amount of work to complete this very worthy project and outstanding addition to our memorial park.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Rochester Hills proudly recognize Eagle Scout, Nick Tran, and express gratitude for all of his hard work in completing the War Dog Memorial at Veterans Memorial Pointe.
