Proclamation honoring October as Chamber of Commerce Month in the greater Rochester area

Whereas, the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce works with the greater Rochester business community to advance the civic, economic, industrial, professional, social and cultural systems of the Rochester Regional area; and
Whereas, the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce is supported by the financial and volunteer resources of over 1,400 businesses located and operating in the Rochester region; and
Whereas, since their incorporation in 1955, the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce has contributed to the protection of commerce and the greater Rochester business climate for the past 53 years; and
Whereas, the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce works to promote the region's business community through education, information and networking opportunities; and
Whereas, the City of Rochester Hills recognizes the Chamber of Commerce and their members for working to make our region the best place to live, work and play.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Rochester Hills, hereby proclaim October to be Chamber of Commerce Month in the greater Rochester area.
