Resolved, that an Ordinance to amend Sections 134-1, 134-7, 134-109, 134-148, 134-177, 134-178, 134-179 and 134-181 of Chapter 134, Signs, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Rochester Hills, Oakland County, Michigan, to define terms; clarify location requirements; authorize and regulate temporary advertising banner flags and modify regulations for temporary wall and freestanding portable signs; modify electronic message sign regulations; modify standards for area, setback, height and number of signs; repeal conflicting Ordinances and prescribe a penalty for violations, is hereby accepted for Second Reading and Adoption, and shall become effective on Friday, December 25, 2009, the day following its publication in the Rochester Post on Thursday, December 24, 2009.
