In Recognition of Patrick McKay for being selected a 2008 Outstanding Employee
Body
Whereas, Patrick McKay began work at the City of Rochester Hills in 1986 as a part-time staff person; and
Whereas, Through the years, Patrick has worked in museum operations and has excelled as the Supervisor of Interpretive Services at the Museum; and
Whereas, Patrick is a passionate historic enthusiast and has been described as the "very heart" of the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm; and
Whereas, He is a marvelous ambassador for the City and works closely with a variety of groups, families, volunteers, fellow employees and businesses to benefit the Museum; and
Whereas, Patrick is a Paid-on-Call Firefighter, marathon runner, bicyclist, and a Granger baseball player.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that I, Bryan K. Barnett, Mayor of Rochester Hills do hereby congratulate Patrick McKay on being selected a 2008 Outstanding Employee, and thank him for his hard work and dedication to the City of Rochester Hills.
