Receive and File the Final Report on 920 South Boulevard W.

WHEREAS, 920 South Boulevard W., Parcel Identification Number 15-34-352-012, was listed on the City's Potential List; and
 
WHEREAS, pursuant to a demolition request being made, City Council granted review rights through April 18, 2007 to the Historic Districts Commission to study the property, which review rights were subsequently extended by City Council through July 18, 2007; and
 
WHEREAS, the Historic Districts Study Committee studied the property and all known family names associated with the property; prepared a Preliminary Report; forwarded the Preliminary Report to the State Historic Preservation Office, the City's Planning Commission and City Council for review; and
 
WHEREAS, on June 14, 2007 the Historic Districts Study Committee held the required Public Hearing and received comment on the potential designation of the property; and
 
WHEREAS, based on the research conducted, the review comments received from the State Historic Preservation Office, and the input from the Public Hearing, the Historic Districts Study Committee concluded the property did not meet the criteria for designation as a Local Historic District; and
 
WHEREAS, the Historic Districts Study Committee prepared its Final Report on the property known as 920 South Boulevard W., and determined not to seek designation of the property known as 920 South Boulevard W.  
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Rochester Hills City Council accepts the conclusion of the Historic Districts Study Committee not to designate the property known as 920 South Boulevard W., and receives and files the Final Report as presented.
