Resolved, that the Rochester Hills City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of four (4) tandem axle dump truck chassis in the amount of $527,652.00 with a 5% project contingency in the amount of $26,382.60 for a total not-to-exceed amount of $554,034.60 to Wolverine Freightliner-Eastside, Mount Clemens, Michigan and the purchase of four (4) tandem axle dump truck bodies equipped with various snow and ice control systems in a not-to-exceed amount of $683,260.00 to Truck and Trailer Specialties, Dutton, Michigan, that will provide four (4) complete tandem axle dump body trucks for a total not-to-exceed purchase price of $1,237,294.60.
Further Resolved, that the City’s acceptance of the proposal and approval of the award of a contract shall be contingent and conditioned upon the parties’ entry into and execution of a written agreement acceptable to the City.
