Adoption of Resolution approving new Engineering Design Standards and Specifications

Whereas, the Avon Township Board adopted the existing engineering design standards and specifications on August 13, 1975. Over the years the design standards became outdated making it necessary for a total re-write; and
Whereas, Hubbell Roth & Clark, Inc. was selected to update and develop engineering design standards for construction involving roads, pathways, sidewalks and underground utilities; and
Whereas, the Department of Public Service recommends that the Rochester Hills City Council adopt the Engineering Design Standards; and
Now Therefore Be It Resolved that the Rochester Hills City Council adopts the Engineering Design Standards to become effective immediately.
