Proclamation in Recognition of Scout Jack Siragusa for his hard work and dedication in the beautification of Veterans Memorial Pointe

Whereas, Scout Jack Siragusa had an idea for a really nice community project for Veterans Memorial Pointe. He came up with a plan for a sitting area by the edge of the Clinton River; and
Whereas, the plan consisted of a sitting area that is cut into a small bank that slopes up from the river. A headwall was built with paver blocks and the sitting area was done with paver bricks to allow for a park bench to be placed there. The area was finished off nicely with landscaping; and
Whereas, Jack was able to raise the necessary funds to do this work with the help of many volunteers. He also received some donations of building materials. This area will remain a very special place at the memorial.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Rochester Hills hereby recognize Scout Jack Siragusa for his hard work and dedication in the beautification of Veterans Memorial Pointe.
