Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Reprogramming PY 2022 and PY 2023

Whereas, the City of Rochester Hills, as required by Oakland County, is requesting to reprogram $10,703 of unspent Program Year 2022 and $15,000 of unspent Program Year 2023 Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, from Yard Services to Minor Home Repair; and
Whereas, Oakland County requires all reprogramming requests hold a public hearing and obtain City Council approval; and
Whereas, the City of Rochester Hills has duly advertised and conducted a public hearing on October 21, 2024, for the purpose of receiving public comments regarding the reprogramming of $10,703 of unspent Program Year 2022 and $15,000 of unspent Program Year 2023 Community Development Block Grant funds (CDBG) from Yard Services to Minor Home Repair; and
Resolved, that the City of Rochester Hills CDBG request for reprogramming is hereby authorized to be submitted to Oakland County for approval, and that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute all documents, agreements, or contracts which result from this request for reprogramming to Oakland County.
