Approval of Clinton River Watershed Council Agreement for Services for Phase II Public Education Services to the City of Rochester Hills

Whereas, the MS4 permit mandates that the City provide a public education program that meets the minimum requirements of the permit.
Whereas, the City of Rochester Hills acknowledges that the Clinton River Watershed Council is a valuable source of public education but does not currently have the resources to provide the additional public education that is necessary to meet the requirements of the permit.
Whereas, the Clinton River Watershed Council will need to hire additional staff to provide the services outlined in Attachment 1 Scope of Services of the agreement.
Whereas, the Clinton River Watershed Council will be able to provide the public education services only if there are a minimum of 43 permit holders that participate in the service agreement.
Resolved, that the Rochester Hills City Council approves the Clinton River Watershed Council Agreement for
