Resolved, that the Rochester Hills City Council hereby waives Section 2-273(b), the requirements for long term contracts, under Section 2-281, which allows City Council the authority to waive any regulation or procedure pertaining to purchasing deeming it to be in the best interest of the City.
Further Resolved, that the Rochester Hills City Council hereby authorizes a contract/blanket purchase order for the purchase of various software products and cloud solutions through an online software marketplace to Amazon Web Services, Inc., Seattle, Washington in the amount not-to-exceed $50,000.00 through December 31, 2027 and further authorize the Mayor to execute a contract on behalf of the City.
Further Resolved, that the City's acceptance of the proposal and approval of the award of a contract shall be contingent and conditioned upon the parties' entry into and execution of a written agreement acceptable to the City.
