Whereas, the Department of Public Service used a quality based selection (QBS) process to determine which engineering firm was best suited to provide Professional Engineering Services; and
Whereas, the selection process included quality control for the project, project supervision, sensitivity, knowledge of local conditions and a clearly defined scope of work.
Resolved that the Rochester Hills City Council hereby awards a Professional Service Agreement between Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc., and the City of Rochester Hills, to provide design engineering for the Avon Intersection Improvement Project in the not-to-exceed amount of $38,552.00 and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract on behalf of the City.
