Whereas, the City of Rochester Hills contracted with Spalding DeDecker Associates, Inc., to provide design and construction services for the Phase I, Task III sanitary sewer pipe replacement and point repair project (City File No. #7-002); and
Whereas, the final costs for the design, inspection and construction administration of the project exceeded the contractual amounts originally approved by the City Council by a total of $31,731.35; and
Whereas, the geotechnical services were subcontracted out as a pass-through cost of $7,472.00 and handled as a reimbursable expense not included within the approved contract and scope of services.
Resolved that the Rochester Hills City Council hereby approves the additionally requested amount of $39,203.35 towards the final payment to Spalding DeDecker Associates, Inc., for providing engineering services for the Phase I, Task III sanitary sewer pipe replacement and point repair project.
