In Recognition of Dan Casey for being named the 2010 Employee of the Year
Body
Whereas, Dan Casey has been employed by the City of Rochester Hills as the Manager of Economic Development for seven years; and
Whereas, in an extremely difficult economy, the city's efforts in Economic Development are paying huge dividends. These efforts are lead by Dan Casey; and
Whereas, Dan has been an exceptional resource in putting together incentive packages for companies to consider and select Rochester Hills over our formidable competitors including Auburn Hills and Troy; and
Whereas, Dan is responsible for creating an award winning economic development component in the city, developing long lasting business relationships, helping to cut red tape and boosting the image of Rochester Hills throughout the state; and
Whereas, in addition, Dan is the city's Business Liaison and serves on countless committees and organizations.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that I, Bryan K. Barnett, Mayor of Rochester Hills hereby congratulate Dan Casey on being selected the 2010 Outstanding Employee, and express my thanks for his hard work and dedication to the City of Rochester Hills.
