Title
In Recognition of Deborah Hoyle as 2012 Employee of the Year
Body
Whereas, Deborah Hoyle has been employed at the City of Rochester Hills since September 4, 1996. Although Debby's primary job is Financial Analyst, her duties and talents have been diversified into several areas. Debby is a breath of fresh air in a department that is governed by many rules, regulations and never ending deadlines. Her positive attitude and constant smile is always uplifting to all around her; and
Whereas, Debby is most impressive in her skills in working with the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applicants and recipients. She exhibits patience, kindness and understanding regardless of the circumstances or challengers involved in communication. Debby's passion for helping others is evident as she assists those in need with many things that most of us take for granted, such as a warm home, hot water and a non-leaky roof; and
Whereas, Debby is very generous with her time and resources, giving of herself to her church Sunday School Class. She supports the Relay for Life as an organizer of the "Bark for Life" walk, and she also provides gifts for the annual city "Giving Tree", as well as gifts for the OPC Christmas baskets for seniors; and
Whereas, Debby recently had her long hair cut in order to donate it to Locks for Love, a non profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children who are suffering from long-term medical hair loss. She selflessly gives of herself to God, her family, friends, and the community without hesitation and with a loving and devoted spirit.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that I, Bryan K. Barnett, Mayor of Rochester Hills hereby congratulate Deborah Hoyle on being selected as the 2012 Employee of the Year, and express my thanks for her hard work skill and dedication to the City of Rochester Hills.
