Whereas, Sierra Lawn and Landscape, Inc. has been awarded the contract for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Lawn Mowing Program for 116 low-income senior citizens residents, and
Whereas, the number of senior citizens residents enrolled in the program has increased significantly over the past year, and
Whereas, lawn mowing services can be provided to those senior citizen residents through the first week in October, and
Whereas, all expenses related to providing the service are reimbursed fully through CDBG funding
Resolved To increase the contract amount of Sierra Lawn and Landscape to $29,000, which will cover lawn mowing services for 116 senior citizen residents beginning May 1, 2003 through the first week in October 2003.
