Proclamation in Recognition of Eagle Scout Danny Fergle
Body
Whereas, Danny is an outstanding young man and student at Adams High School and is in his sophomore year; and
Whereas, Danny exhibits great character in his involvement in many extracurricular activities, including the Boy Scouts, which he has been a part of for nine years and is currently with Van Hoosen Middle School Troop 101; and
Whereas, in pursuit of his Eagle Scout ranking, Danny chose to design, build, and install two handicap accessible picnic tables at Veterans Memorial Pointe; and
Whereas, Danny spent a great amount of time raising funds to support the project, and gathered volunteer support from his troop, friends, and family. He completed the project in August of 2013 and it is a wonderful addition for all patrons of the park.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Rochester Hills proudly recognize Eagle Scout, Dany Fergle, and express gratitude for all of his hard work in completing the handicap accessible picnic tables at Veterans Memorial Pointe.
