Creation of a Charter Millage Technical Review Committee

Resolved, that the Rochester Hills City Council creates the Charter Millage Technical Review Committee as follows:
Name of Committee: Charter Millage Technical Review Committee
Purpose and Charge: The Committee shall be responsible for the following:
1) To study the City Charter - authorized and special voted millages.
2) To consider the possibility of combining millages, such as for Public Safety.
3) Consider possible amendment or modifications of both the Charter-authorized and special voted millages.
4) Make recommendations to City Council regarding potential changes to the Charter and millages based on its study; including no changes within one (1) year.
Membership:
City Council - Two (2) Members
Citizen Representatives - Two (2) Citizen Members appointed by Council
Administrative Representatives - One (1) Member of the Clerk's Office and other Staff Members as appropriate.
Rochester Hills Government Youth Council (RHGYC) Representative - One (1) Member selected by the Youth Council
Term of Appointment:
The term shall be for one year, with the first to expire December 12, 2008.
