Chairperson Janulis called the Green Space Advisory Board meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Non-Voting members present: Susan Bowyer, Ph.D., Aman Disanjh.
Non-Voting members absent: Matt Einheuser, Lance DeVoe, Ken Elwert, Hannah Bennett and Aden Smith.
Committee Members Matt Einheuser, Lance DeVoe, Ken Elwert, provided previous notice that they would be unable to attend and asked to be excused.

Approval of Minutes - Regular Meeting - December 10, 2019

Chairperson Janulis mentioned that Matt Einheuser will be busy working with Cardno, getting them up to speed. Member Graves discussed Cardno, as he was on the selection committee. They have many services to offer and were very professional. Biggest concern is getting them up to speed. They have a large staff and emphasize safety. Discussion ensued. The board would like to have Cardno at an upcoming meeting.

2020 GSAB Goals

After some discussion, the following goals were agreed upon.
1. Conduct a Winter Walk using the Ruby property in February or March.
2. Consolidation of Green Space Property Fact Sheets
a.Committee Chair, Terry Stephens. Members, Peter Beightol, Tim Gauthier and Andrea Merritt
3. Give update to City Council in 2020 on events, goals, accomplishments and transition.
4. Continue engagement and education of Green Space
a. Signs
b. Web update
c. News releases
d. Videos/Photos over time
e. OAK in the Hills at Spencer Park, May 2020
f. Second Saturday Hikes
g.Speaker Bureau
5. Increase volunteer stewardship
a. Reach out to adjacent homes to help in Green Space clean-up and development of buffers
b. Annual cleanup day
c. Annual volunteer stewardship activity
6. River trip to view the Green Spaces
7. Improve access to Ruby, Cloverport and Childress Green Spaces.

Election of 2020 GSAB Chairperson

Chairperson Janulis opened the floor for nominations for Chairperson for 2020. The following Board Members received nominations:

Darlene Janulis was elected by a seven to two vote.
Resolved, that Darlene Janulis be appointed as Chairperson of the Green Space Advisory Board for 2020.

Resolved that Jayson Graves be appointed as Vice Chairperson of the Green Space Advisory Board for 2020.
