Resolved, that the Minutes of the June 27, 2017 Regular Meeting of the Green Space Advisory Board are approved as presented.

Director Elwert introduced new staff member Laurie Taylor. GSAB members introduced themselves to her. Director Elwert thanked Members Gauthier and Janulis for their presentation to Council.
Director Elwert followed up on Innovation Hills green space issue. The Mayor expressed that he understands the committee’s concern but they both are city property, and he has no intention of pushing the green space function away from that side but that he doesn’t see it as practical to refer to the properties as different names. Director Elwert read him the GSAB’s motion and discussed the justification behind the committee’s disagreement. Discussion ensued.
Director Elwert spoke about the Niswander spreadsheets. Member Graves wants updated numbers from Niswander regarding yearly maintenance costs. He would like to see what our legacy cost is.
Lance updated the committee with what work Niswander has completed. They treated barberry at White twice, the issue is mostly resolved. They have been working on sediment control at Cloverport.

|
Member Janulis would like to see the Green Space Advisory Board move
forward with signs on all of the green space properties. Chairperson Peterson recommended letting students work on it in the fall for creative signage. Director Elwert said we can do something quickly to put up markers. Member Janulis Darlene wants to make sure signs are included in next year's budgets. Discussion ensued.
