Ken Elwert told the advisory board that Donald Price has resigned. His position will got to council in July. The board will not have a new member until August or September.
Elwert let the board know that the demolition is underway on the Ruby property. Its progress is slow but is on track for sometime this summer.
Elwert revisited the conversation from the previous meeting about using green space funds for clean up on the Clinton River. The general consensus of the committee was that they would not use green space funds for the river. As a result $20,000 is being requested from the General Fund for 2018. These funds won’t allow clean up of the entire river but will be a help.
Lance Devoe discussed watering and deer proofing being completed at the Harding property. Niswander is currently watering two times per week and have been spraying to keep deer from eating shrubs and newly planted plants.
Ken Elwert presented power point slides for the July 17th, 2017 council presentation. Discussion ensued.
