Chairperson Carvey called the Green Space Advisory Board meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
|
Non voting members present: Kurt Dawson, Lance DeVoe, Mike Hartner, Adam Kochenderfer (at 7:12 p.m.), Maura Losh and Shreya Reddy.
Non voting members absent: Omar Ilyas with notice.
Committee member Tim Gauthier provided notice that he would be unable to attend and asked to be excused.

GSAB Communication, Promotion & Education Sub-Committee
Board members Jayson Graves, Darlene Janulis and Sandy Niks met to discuss the details of the upcoming Discovery Day Hike and provided the following information:
The fifth annual Discovery Day Hike will be held at Riverbend Park on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Park Ranger Lance DeVoe will coordinate with GSAB members to staff two information tents at the park for the event. The event will include a one hour guided hike, an "I Spy" challenge as well as taking suggestions from participants on potential names for the three ponds located within the park.

Director Hartner presented the Board Members with an updated draft of the "Open Space Management Plan-Site Evaluation for Priority Ranking" score sheet to be used in the evaluation of nominated green space properties.

Attachments:
Director Hartner reviewed the new property nomination located at 1380 Ruby Avenue. The Board Members agreed to meet at the property on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. to walk and score the property.
