Request:  A request for a Variance for four signs from Section 134-4 (Signs), Prohibited Signs (5), Illumination b. of the Code of Ordinances which states, "The source of illumination may be internal or external.  The source of light shall not be exposed."  The submitted sign permit application is requesting signs with exposed lighting.
