Resolved, that the Rochester Hills City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of two (2) Tandem Axle Dump Trucks and one (1) Single Axle Dump Truck from Wolverine Freightliner-Eastside, Inc., Mount Clemens, Michigan for a not-to-exceed amount of $288,714.00 and the purchase of two (2) Tandem Axle Dump Body/Snow and Ice Control Systems and Wing Plows and one (1) Single Axle Dump Body/Snow and Ice Control System to Truck and Trailer Specialties, Dutton, Michigan for a not-to-exceed amount of $390,404.00 The combined purchase of the three (3) truck chassis and three (3) body systems will provide two (2) complete Tandem Axle Dump/Snow and Ice Control Trucks with Wing Plows and one (1) complete Single Axle Dump/Snow and Ice Control Truck for a total not-to-exceed amount of $679,118.00.
Further Resolved, that the City’s acceptance of the proposal and approval of the award of a contract shall be contingent and conditioned upon the parties’ entry into and execution of a written agreement acceptable to the City.
