Proclamation in Recognition of Eileen Krysiak

Whereas, trained in all aspects of the Emergency Operations Center, Eileen Krysiak has 16 years of experience as a Dispatch Specialist, the last 7 with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office; and
Whereas, on the morning of June 5, 2019, Ms. Krysiak answered the 911 call from Giuseppe Lampasona, whose father, Baldo Lampasona, had complained of chest pain before collapsing on the driveway at their job site; and
Whereas, Ms. Krysiak guided Giuseppe Lampasona through CPR on his father as they awaited an ambulance and further assistance; and
Whereas, the verbal instructions Ms. Krysiak methodically relayed over the phone to Giuseppe Lampasona aided in saving the life of Baldo Lampasona; and
Whereas, Ms. Krysiak enjoys her work and returns home at the end of the day feeling good about helping people in the community, and the community is better for it.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Rochester Hills hereby recognize and thank Eileen Krysiak for the knowledgeable directions she heroically gave Giuseppe Lampasona to help save the life of Baldo Lampasona in the City of Rochester Hills.
Be It Further Resolved, we wish Eileen and her wife, who love the outdoors and their pets, great happiness and success in all of life.
