Proclamation in Recognition of the Rochester Adams High School Girls Varsity Swim and Dive Team - MHSAA Division 2 State Champions

Whereas, Rochester Adams High School Girls Varsity Swim & Dive Team consists of 15 student athletes, led by Coach Tim Hickey; and
Whereas, the swimmers trained hard all season and showed up ready on Saturday, November 17, 2018 for the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 Girls Swimming & Diving Tournament Finals; and
Whereas, Adams swimmers scored points in nearly every event, earning a meet-best total of 250 points; and
Whereas, for the first time in the school’s history, for girls or boys teams, Rochester Adams High School claimed the Division 2 Swimming & Diving state title; and
Whereas, this season’s national champions consist of the following high school athletes:

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of the City of Rochester Hills hereby congratulate the Rochester Adams High School Girls Varsity Swim & Dive Team on their outstanding win and wish each athlete all the best in their academic and extracurricular endeavors.
