Proclamation in Recognition of Team Falcon #98725B - 2018 VEX Robotics Michigan State Champions

Whereas, the Robotics Education and Competition (REC) Foundation seeks to increase student interest and involvement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by engaging students in robotics engineering programs across the United States and internationally; and
Whereas, VEX Robotics supports opportunities for leaders to emerge and engage in hands-on STEM learning, innovative thinking, and creative problem-solving; and
Whereas, on February 25, 2018, the REC Foundation held the Michigan VEX Robotics State Championship in Grandville, Michigan; and
Whereas, Team Falcon #98725B, comprised of four ambitious, inventive, and hard-working Rochester Hills Christian School students, competed; and
Whereas, Team Falcon made their city proud as they took first place for the second year in a row, and now hold the record for highest match score.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that on the occasion of this remarkable win by Team Falcon, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Rochester Hills hereby recognize, honor, and congratulate the entire team and wish them continued success in all their future endeavors.
