Proclamation in Recognition of Troop 125 Boy Scouts of America 60th Anniversary

Whereas, Troop 125 Boy Scouts of America has continually served the City from 1957 to 2017; and
Whereas, since its founding, Troop 125 has engaged over 1,300 youth in developing youth leaders and responsible citizens; and
Whereas, Troop 125 has provided service to the community throughout the Greater Rochester Area by donating several thousands of hours of community service at a multitude of community events; and
Whereas, 147 Troop 125 scouts have receive the rank of Eagle Scout since 1957. Many of their projects have supported Dinosaur Hill, Rochester Community House, Rochester Schools, city parks, and more; and
Whereas, the City of Rochester Hills congratulates Troop 125 on its 60th anniversary and wishes it continued success in its mission.
Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of the City of Rochester Hills hereby recognize, honor, and thank Troop 125 Boy Scouts of America and its charter organization the Rochester Community House Inc. for 60 years of outstanding and dedicated service to the citizens and the City of Rochester Hills, Michigan.
