Proclamation in Recognition of Nancy Genik

Whereas, Nancy Genik began her career 27 years ago with RARA Recreation as a Recreation Supervisor, Dance Coordinator. As manager of the dance program, she oversaw 6,200 registrants last year and over 90,000 registrants throughout her career; and
Whereas, Nancy has produced and executed an estimated 300 recitals focusing on the talents of the youth of today; and
Whereas, Nancy has set the groundwork for fabulous programs that will continue for future generations. She has provided mentorship and guidance to those she has supervised with smile and grace; and
Whereas, Nancy's sincere attitude and dedication have served as an excellent example to those under her leadership and throughout the community over the years.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Rochester Hills proudly express sincere appreciation and gratitude to Nancy Genik for over twenty-seven years of dedicated service. We wish Nancy and her family the very best in this new chapter of her life.
