Resolved, that the Rochester Hills City Council hereby authorizes a Blanket Purchase Order/Contract to Stryker, Portage, Michigan for a service plan contract for the fire department Stryker ambulance cots in the amount not-to-exceed $50,981.25 for a 7-year term and further authorizes the Mayor to execute a contract on behalf of the City.
Further Resolved, that the Rochester Hills City Council waives Section 2-273(b), the 3-year requirement for long-term contracts, under Section 2-281, which allows City Council the authority to waive any regulation or procedure pertaining to purchasing, deeming it to be in the best interest of the City.
